Thank you for your reply- looks like I had a box without one...from Jessops of all companies! It's been sold on now but at a loss to me because of no adapter. All I can think of in terms of how could this happen is that is was/is a US import as their adapters' polarity does not comply with UK regulations and therefore they do not put one in the box. Should I let Jessops know or do Sony have any idea how this could have happened?
