I've had 'Play Memeories Home' on my computer for a few years, it's been updated when required, I'm now using it on windows 10 computer. I've noticed that every so often it seems to re-scan my hard drives and duplicate the files it already had recorded, this is now a bit silly as some pics and videos it shows recorded six or seven times (crazy) how can I stop this and how can I un-duplicate the entries without loosing any of my original (single) files. This problem was here before I went on to windows 10.

Any helpful comment would be appeciated.

Hi Michael,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

If you have selected 'Import All Files' using PlayMemories all images recorded on a memory card or internal memory of the camera will be imported which can mean having more than one copy of an image.

The best to change this would be to select 'Import New Files' to import only new images. You can also choose 'Select Files to Import' if you wished to select specific images to import.
