having an old sony Hicam camcorder ccd-tvr27e i noticed the display screen (small one on the front approx 1 1/2inches long x 1/2 inch wide,that display's battery power and recording time) has a small crack and fails to operate correctly...does anyone know where i can get my hands an a replacement.although i purchased a new digital cam this does not have some of the best features of the old one.Hence why i want to fix it...plus maybe the video of the older is slightly better quality..........anyone help...pleeeeease

buying a broken or used camcorder on ebay and salvage it for parts is probably your best bet.
