US Import - Can't Register on MySony?

Hi all, just joined and have already found useful info on my new camera so let me start with a thank you. My query is that I have just come back from the US having bought this camera but when I try to register it on MySony the United States does not appear on the dropdown list of countries of purchase - so I can't register it. It does include Russia, Ukraine and Turkey so it's not exclusively European or EU as such just more or less. Can anyone help?

Hello @Madmagpie,

since you bought your camera in the US, it won't be covered by warranty in the EU anyways, so the form doesn't allow the US as country of purchase.
