I have a Kdl-46EX600 and I've only had it for about 3 years when all of a sudden vertical lines began to appear. First is was 1 small line and now it's three thick lines. I went online and found many people saying that this problem can be fixed by changing the DRC mode from 'mode 1' to off but I've searched all through the settings and havent found DRC modes. If there are other solutions to this problem please let me know.

It may be worth looking through the Sony troubleshooting guide, which will also allow you to book the TV in for a repair, should you not find a solution.
