tv switching from digital to av , on switching on after watching on digital

After watching virgin media via a scart plug on my smart tv kdl-43 we753, I go to digital befoe switching off, but on switching back on , it comes back on in av, I then have to then toggle on to digital again,.then if I switch off again, then on again it comes back on av again. Hope some one understands this.Is my tv faulty or virgin media cable box. TV is only 3 weeks old.

Have you checked the scart connections are fully inserted on both your TV and cable box?
