PlayMemories Online Storage shutting down?

I would like to know if PlayMemories Online Storage will be closing down like it was announced long ago. It said by 2017.

I have been uploading pictures continuously with no problem for years, but will I lose them suddenly?

I can't find a supporter who knows anything about it.
