Call display not turning off when pressing power button

I recently got a new 5iii.

But i feel so annoyed that i cannot turn of screen when incoming calls are coming in.

Before when an incoming call was shown on all of My old Sony phones, i could press the power button to turn of vibrations and the call screen, in such a way to be able to neither Accept or reject an incoming call.

But with the 5 iii the screen goes black for a second after pressing the power button just for it to open up again and again with the incoming call screen...

Is it My phone just or have they removed this function?

Hello @atreides, try to clear the phone app's cached data (settings - apps - all apps - navigate to phone app - storage - clear cache & data), then restart your phone and check again
