topic loss of all taken pictures and movies, empty DCIM folder in 10 Series

Hi, yesterday I have been touched by incredible situation: I have just noticed, all my photes and movies have been disappered! The folder DCIM contains no one file! DICM containt only subfolders, e.g. .thumbnails, 100ANDRO, XPERIA\AR_EFFECT, XPERIA\BURST, XPERIA\SLOW_VIDEO. New taken pictures are numerated from the beginning - DSC_00001.jpg etc. Data disappeared from buit-in space, no sd card has been used. No virus found, I have never launched software outside Google Play store. Anybody knows, what is going on? It is a system failure? It is also not possible to recover files, any tools are not able to find deleted(?) files.

Phone model: Sony Xperia 10 Pro, I4213, Android 9 (53.0.A.14.47)

Hi,

That is a disaster indeed.

You must have acted yourself.

If you have taken the right precautions and have set the device to be backed up and all your pictures automatically uploaded to Google then there is nothing to worry about.

Go photos.google.com to check.

For others who read this: think and act. Set your backups at Google.

For those who are afraid that Google knows everything. That is correct.

You bought an Android phone so you're right inside this hemisphere.
