can anyone please let me know what is this icon on my status bar?

A network with small call sign on the right side of status bar!

Hi @Behbahani, welcome to our forum!

I have approved your picture, so it will show up soon.

The icon means that you have the operator service called Voice over Wi-Fi enabled (VoWiFi) in your device. With this service, you can make calls even if you have very bad network coverage, but you have access to Wi-Fi, for example if you have a summer house or similar where the network coverage isn't great but you have Wi-Fi.

Based on your screen shot and the 1 bar in the network icon, I'm sure VoWiFi is going to be awesome for you!

If you want to turn off the service or if your operator have added the option to choose if you want to have the mobile network as the preferred network when making calls while connected to Wi-Fi, or if you prefer the Wi-Fi connection, you can find the options for this if you follow the instructions below.

Single SIM device

Find and tap Phone application.
Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) > Settings > Calls > Wi-Fi Calling.
Tap the switch beside Off to enable Wi-Fi Calling.

Dual SIM device

Find and tap Phone application.
Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) > Settings > Calling accounts > Select a SIM card > Wi-Fi Calling.
Tap the switch beside Off
