Recently I’ve installed the 41.2.A.7.8 update on my X Performance, and I found that the RAM management become worse than before.

It kills apps and make them refresh when I re-open it in a higher frequency. It’s very annoying. My previous phone Z2 (which is also having 3GB of RAM) doesn’t have such kind of problem. I found this problem since I moved to XP (which is having Sony’s Marshmallow on it), and I’m not going to update my Z2 to 6.0 because I’m afraid of that bad experience.:smileysilly:

I chose to keep cache for 4 apps that I use most, but it doesn’t help so much.

I do have the same problem

The system of Android 7.1.1 eats 1.4gb of ram

Which is a whole lot more than 7.0

Thus it makes apps like Snapchat lags and freezes
