USB can't read photos

My Sony doesn't read photos from a usb device, neither in the album nor in the google photos app. It's kind of strange as far as my ES File Explorer app can read them.

Hi @JCuesta, welcome to the community.

This is normal behaviour, you will only be able to view the files on a USB drive with a vile explorer.

There's one built into your phone under Settings > Storage > Advanced > Storage.

This might be of help, too...

The Downloads app is also a file browser. Just touch the upper-left menu button to browse phone-card-etc.

It's basically the same app, but easier to access. I really wish SONY would brand this as a file browser and make it useful
