Dear Sony Support

I am trying to copy photo from X compact by using USB Type-C to my computer Window10. However, when I select transfer files and go to Androids\DCIM\ folder, and then file explorer is loading my photo just half and keep saying "Error busy". then i cannot see the whole photos. I did change SD-Card to new one, reset factory, reseat memory., format SD card however, i still have this issue.

FYI: my photo only 300-400 photos mostly i need to copy entire Android folder from my x compact and paste on my laptop. however, if there is more photo, it wil take time a lot to do it.

I've tried to repeat your observations with my X Compact - but everything worked fine and as expected.

Just to be sure we do the same things, what I did is:

- connected XC to my Windows 10 PC with the original USB-Cable

- on prompt at XC selected "file transfer"

- opened "My Computer" on PC, went to "Xperia Compact", "SD Card"

then I can open and copy any file and folder with ease.

If you did the same when you encountered the problems you describe then maybe something is wrong with your PC installation. A first step could be reinstalling the XC USB drivers.
