My Xperia X F5121 Isn't Detected by my PC or Laptop

Good Day,

I have tried following the steps provided in this link /t5/Xperia-X/My-Xperia-X-F5122-Isn-t-Detected-by-my-PC-and-Laptop/td-p/1210195 but my windows 8 PC does not pick my phone up at all, i have tried using different computers(different operating systems) and all of my USB ports. The only thing that happens when I plug my usb cable from my Xperia X into the PC is it charges it, I have selected USB debugging mode in developer options but still nothing.

There is no option to select MTP..ETC when plugging in my phone. I recently updated my system software to 34.2.A.2.47.

PLEASE HELP

I am sorry to hear about this issue

With the information supplied, if you cannot get the device to be seen even on other computers then you may have more of a hardware issue than a driver issue.

Honestly, I suggest contacting Sony Mobile within your region directly they should be able to help and possibly have the device assessed for any defects.
