Caller doesnt hear my voice

Dear Support-Team,

I having trouble making calls with my Xperia X.

The person I've called does not hear me. No matter if I am in my car and use my intercom or if I am on my phone directly.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear this. Can you hear the other person when you make or receive a call?

I recommend that you test you microphone in the diagnostics tool in your device. To do so go to: Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Microphone. How the the microphone behave in this test?

Also I would recommend that try to reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior may be caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

Yes, I can hear the other person.

I run the diagnose and the mircophone worked just fine.

I was not able to start the phone in safe mode, but a restart appears to be enough so.

At this moment it works. I will find out if it is permanent.
