LTE issues on xperia x performance

Hello all would like to get some help. I'll live in California and me and my wife both have the xperia x performance (F8131) however we can't used the lte on our settings due to it would not pick good signal and its really slow. However if we switch it over to the H+ we get decent signal and download speeds is faster. Is there any way I can use lte and not H+? I'll currently on the mobile network. Thanks Eric

Well if the lte in your area is slow and weak, you're better off sticking with H+

why dont you just unlock your bootloader and download emma software and it will then give you a custom rom latest android Nougat and will change it to 4 G

Hi I am experiencing connectivity problems on my xperia x since changing the software over to nougat. The internet is very slow and it will not connect to LTE. Its not a network problem as my wife uses a samsung note 5 and she is constantly connected on lte is there something i can do to improve the phone

I'm having similar issues, this X performance seems to have a much **bleep**tier range!

I used to have strong reception with my Z1 and my wifes Z3 also have strong LTE reception, and now with the X performance i struggle to get LTE and it switches to H+ or even 3G

I'm imensly disappointed with the X Performance, and I've been buying Soney devices ever since they Purchased Ericsson.

I have loved every Xperia device that i've own until this phone, and the reception is only one of many issues! ( I've own 6 Xperia devices now)

I am having similar problem especially after T-mobile "upgrade" their 4G LTE, it is worst than ever. I contacted T-mobile many times and came to a conclusion since it is not a T-mobile phone, they recommend me to buy a T-mobile phone to resolve the problem

I love Sony phone, but I don't know what to do now since the reception is so poor!
