3G problem after updating to 2.1

My 3G has stopped working after upgrading my X10 mini from 1.6 to 2.1.

Any suggestions?

That's weird. Since you can't enable or disable the 3G on this phone, I recommend you to try using the repair function in your PC Companion to reinstall the software of your phone. If that doesn't work, you would need to have that phone checked by a qualified technician in your local area.

Do you find a H symbol instead of 3G?

I am in Europe.

Yes I get an H symbol. And I just noticed that I can receive MMS.

Is that a good or a bad thing?

That's not bad at all... The H represents High speed Internet or HSDPA which is like 3G or faster. You should try downloading something to test the speed of your phone's internet. If you can send and receive MMS is normal but keep in mind that your service provider my charge you extra for the MMS. For further information on this, please contact your operator.

Whereas I could use my internet browser on 3G when using 1.6, now it only works if I'm connected to a wifi connection. Any idea of how I anable browsing using 3G?

Please go to Menu > settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Network > Select GSM/WCDMA preferred. Also, you could try contacting your operator to see if the 3G feature is still activated for your service.

If none of the above works, you need to try repairing the software of the phone by going to the PC Companion and selecting repair the phone.

You have got HSDPA which is advanced 3G. This network is notified as H instead of 3G on the phone.

after upgrading my phone, i can't use my wifi,bluetooth or even the track ID.what's shall i do?

Hey @ugly21,

You shall try repairing the software of your phone by connecting it to the PC Companion and opening the option that says software update > repair the phone, so that you can reinstall the software of your phone. If the problem persists, you need to contact your local support to have it checked by a qualified technician.

hallo, i also have the same problem..after i updated to 2.1, my GPS is not working anymore. Google maps, Latitude and navigation are not working anymore, I also can't open my Wetter widget/app because it can't identify my location..what should this be?
