Install C1905 firmware in C1904?

can i install official 4.3 15.4.A.0.23 for c1905 in 1904?

You should not try to install firmware for another model in your phone. Doing so may break the phone and void the warranty.

Android 4.3 is also being rolled out for C1904 but depending on your country/operator you may not have received it yet.

i did that, all are good but my phone model is c1904. after i did it shows c1905. how can i resolve it? any problem for that?

To do that i assume you used a 3:rd party software like FlashTool or similar? To have the correct software installed you would need to install correct software using that software or contact a service location.

yes i tried pcc it shows phone is upto date... and it show my phone model is c1905... if through sus, reinstall may fix this problem?

Modifying the phones software may void the warranty of the phone. To install the correct software you would need to use that 3:rd party software again or contact an service location. It's not possible to change this using PC Companion or Update Service.

And I have updated my phone by updating the update center app from google and my model no is (C1904) so, is it legal?

yes.... because update is given sony........ and also there is no change in ur cusmtm number and model.........

I asked the same with sony and the mailed me like this...

We value the importance of your concern and here to assist you.

As per your email, we would like to inform you that updating the update centre application will be consider as a rooting as Sony does not support rooting of the handset. Once you root your handset, your handset will not be consider under warranty and Sony will not provide any services for the same.

So, we would request you to wait for notification in your handset as you will get notification in update centre application after notification you can update your phone through PC-Companion

So I decided to stick with 4.1 and waiting for the update to be rolled in india..

rooting is a different ball game altogether.

Sony said so because they donot want people to update untill and unless they have officially released the update in their respective countries.

Sounds like some sort of misunderstanding. Updating the phone with PC Companion, Bridge for Mac, Update Service or Update Centre (in the phone) will not root the phone or void the warranty.

Updating the phones software using 3:rd party tools like Flashtool might void your warranty and is not recommended.
