Can't record or play videos

I recently bought this device and I must say I'm very disappointed because the notification sounds stopped working out of nowhere and mostly I can't record or play videos on apps such as snapchat and instagram. Is there anything I can do about it?

Could you please elaborate? Which notification sound has stopped? Is it for any specific application or for all functions that uses notification sounds?

What happens when you try to record a video with these applications? Any error message or what happens? Are you able to record a video with the preinstalled camera application?

Yes, all applications that use notification sounds have gone mute, and there's an error message that reads "video cannot be displayed" and when I record videos even with the camera, the result is that the screen gets black and there's no sound or anything.

Actually, resetting it solved both problems

Did you do a factory reset or what kind of reset did you do? Glad to hear that it's now working.
