Unable to edit Facebook Comments and replies on my phone F3311

Since a latest update (either phone or Facebook) I have been unable to edit comments or replies on Facebook on my phone. No problems when on my computer. I get the edit box but my cursor is stuck in front of the first word. Any suggestions please?

Phone is up to date with updates.

I have exactly the same issue but my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4.

And as usual, there is no place to report or contact for support...

That is the anoowing thing. There is no where on either Facebook or Sony Experia that I can get a definitive answer or solution. I ma reliant on the good folk who may posts a solution in here. Which to date has not helped at all. The problem still exists.
