Spotify says it has downloaded but no sign of it on internal or external sd card also when I go into settings on my phone there is no data pertaining to my sd card and no data pertaining to my internal storage - what is wrong is this phone dud? Thanks in advance for any help x

Welcome to the community

With Spotify, when you download a play list or a song saved to a play list, this is for the sole purpose of being able to play the song/play list from the Spotify app when you do not have an internet connection.

You will be unable to find the actual songs/play lists in a folder of the phone to move or listen to elsewhere.

If a song has successfully been downloaded from the Spotify app there will be green arrow in a circle that shows on the far left hand side of the song and you will be able to play the song with no internet connection.

Are you able to play the files that have been downloaded with no internet connection on the device?
