Phone not displaying answer/ignore for incoming calls

When trying to answer incoming call it takes too many attempts swiping to answer. When caller rings back then I get top window to answer/decline by just pressing. Why can't I do that on first call.?

Any suggestions please.?

When answering calls despite repeated swipes (on clean screen) the green call button fails to move left to right. When caller rings back, small window appears at top screen giving easy option to simply press "answer" or "decline" which works fine.

Am trying to get phone settings to be able to press "answer" instead of swiping.

Any suggestions please?
