I was given this phone as a christmas present in 2016 and i love my sony E5 but today when i picked up my phone and used it there was no vibrate on touch i thought i had turned it off, went on to the settings for it and it was still on.

I assumed it just needed to be reset so i done that still no vibrate with any calls, texts notifications. I restarted it again hoping it would be okay. Still nothing.

I went on to the diagnostic test for vibration and nothing it failed the test so i reset my phone to factory settings thinking that was the problem. I went through all the start up settings and still no vibrate for anything not even for the start up, i have also connected and tried to repair my phone by the pc companion but nothing no vibrate for anything still.

The phone is fairly new gets used daily like any other phone, gets charged every 2-3 days mainly or if im out for the full day and needed its recharged the night before (doesnt happen very often)

The phone hasnt been in water apart from the odd drops of rain on the screen but thats protected by a tempered glass cover.

Vibration for everything was working yesterday when used, today its not working. I dont know if its down to the heat its been 28 degrees today but im not sure whats caused it.

Any ideas or help?
