my phone has been stolen and switched off how can i get it back?

Hi @obbie, sorry to hear about what has happened.

We do not have any way of tracking your device when it's powered off. Your operator may be able to see where it was last connected to the network, but other than that, there isn't much you can do to locate it.

Make sure that you file a police report and get in touch with your operator to block the IMEI number so it can't be used in any network.

It seems even IMEI number has already been changed the police even the carrier can't locate it..will it be possible identifying the new IMEI through the old one

Hi again @obbie,

We can't find your device based on the IMEI number and the only way I can see what the new IMEI number is when the motherboard has been changed at an authorized service centre, or that the device was swapped for a new one.

If the motherboard has been replaced by the person that stole the device, there is no way of knowing the new IMEI number.
