Android TV - Youtube lip-sync is very bad?

Since the last couple of updates Youtube lipsync has been horrible, I mean really horrible. Some videos are fine, however I have a video you can test below that is reproducable.

This is direct through the TV or via my Sony 1050 AV receiver using ARC.

I have heard many reports of this the last couple of days. Ive edited the subject title to a more generic one, as i would like to use this thread for this issue - hope you dont mind.

For anyone else experiencing this, please click the 'me too' button on the first post. Also it might help with the following:

What is your TV model
What firmware version
Has this only occured since this last update
Have you done a factory reset?

No problem @Anonymous just for reference I have done a factory reset to no avail.

Same issue. Reset after latest firmware update.

Issue has been present since being bought in September.

Tv model X8509 connected to ht-ct380 via HDMI Arc.

@Risc0n I tried the video in the link on my own iMac connected to internet via a 30Mb fiber connection: it has lipsync problem, so I'm not so sure what is the problem with your tv

Its not just my TV, it is either a Sony issue or Youtube. Try the one below.

I can assure there is on mine and others. So you must have some kind of magic setup!

Something is wrong, my model kdl-55w808c has this lipsync problem very often,

but never on computer, phone, tablet, other sony tv (kdl-50w805w), chromecast v2 using the same network.

I thought atleast youtube should work flawless on a android tv...

Hi all

I have tested this on my TV and outputting audio via a Sony AV Receiver and have no problems.

If anyone else is having problems please reply in this thread.

something is broken with arc + youtube + yamaha reciver

switching off arc and lipsync is perfect...

Just posted in the main thread. I am having delay on YouTube as well since the latest update and did not have this issue prior. 55x8509c. Connected to Sony reciever via hdmi.

I have the Lip-Sync problem too but i haven't got any AV Reciever connected. Just the TV and nothing else.

Just wanted to add that I get lip sync issues and have almost since I bought my kd55x8509C in September 2015. TV is connected to a ct-380 via arc that was purchased alongside the TV. Factory reset after every update this year but the issue remains on every YouTube video, although some are worse than others. Pause and start can sometimes being the sync back for a short period but not always.
