Sky Q Mini Box switches off when I switch off Sony Bravia TV

My Sony TV is the Sony 2023 Bravia KD43X75WL

My Sky Box is a Sky Q Mini

This is the scenario. If I am watching programmes from the Sky Q Mini box and I turn off the TV with the main green button on my Sony Remote (RMT-TX450E) both the TV and the Sky Q Mini Box turn off. Ideally I want the TV to turn off, but the Sky Q Mini Box to stay on (i.e. green light on the box).

On the TV I have the TV Button on the remote set to the Sky Q Mini Box so if I select that button the TV selects the Sky programmes. The Sky Remote can control the TV as well.

Any thoughts most welcome.

I really don't understand why you would like to have the box on when the TV is off, in any case there should be a setting in the bravia sync setup the control the behaviour of the connected equipments....

Press the Settings button on the remote control.

Select Settings from the on screen menu.

Select Channels & Inputs.

Click right and select External Inputs.

Click right and select BRAVIA Sync settings.

Click right and make sure Auto Devices off is set to Off.

I have to ask, why would you want to leave the Sky Q Mini box fully on and not in standby. Apart from trying to use more electricity.
