Sony KDL-43W755C Android TV --- BBC iPlayer disappeared

Hello,

I got this TV last Saturday and on that day we spent a good few hours using iPlayer which had a tile on the Home Screen.

On Sunday however, that tile had disappeared.

What's more, I can't even see BBC iPlayer in the Google Play Apps area.

What's happened?

How do I get BBC iPlayer Back?!

Had this happen today on a KD-49X8305C which I have had for just one week.

P.S. Why don't they put the dates on postings?

Hi there

A couple of thing:

iPlayer is dependent on a UK based ip address. Ensure that it is by going to http://ip-lookup.net
If you have enabled 'restricted profile' mode, iplayer disappears.
If you're not in the UK, but using a UK based VPN, then the BBC are blocking it:

PS: You used to be able to enable proper dates on postings in your settings, but for some reason this setting is no longer available. I have dates enabled, but cant switch them off now, if i wanted to that is
