Pausing Sky q box never activates screensaver on Bravia TV

I have a KE-55A8 Bravia TV with a Sky Q main box connected via the HDMI3 eARC input. Whenever I pause the Sky Q box the Bravia never goes into screensaver mode. If I pause any of the inbuilt Sony apps directly on the TV when using them, then the screensaver does activate.

Is there any setting to allow the Bravia to detect that an input on HDMI3 is paused and therefore the screensaver should run?

No.

The screensaver only works with built-in apps.
