I have a Sony Bravia KD-43XE8396 when I record a HDR program from Sky the picture is very dark! Also HLG is set to Soto but does not kick in or colour space 2020.

Even after setting these maually the picture is still very dark! My tv supposedly supports HDR/HLG

Please explain better. You cannot record anything on the tv from sky, so you are talking about a function of the decoder... why do you think is a problem of the tv?

The HDR program is recorded on my Sky box, However when it is played the tv
produces a very dark picture!

And when you look at it on the fly is it right? and if so, what does the tv matter?
