KD55-AF9 screen goes blank

Hello,

Whilst watching, my TV can intermittently go off (black screen) and then return to on (normal picture / sound). The delay between going off and returning to on is perhaps 1 or 2 seconds.

This can occur a few times with a good few minutes in between or sometimes, many times with a shorter timeframe between instances.

Resetting the TV helps for a while but eventually, the issue comes back and surely, the TV shouldn’t regularly need to be reset (or should it)?

Has anyone had / resolved a similar issue with this or other Sony TV’s?

Hi @claretdcwat It sounds like your TV is clearly faulty if you have ruled out external influences like spikes on your mains etc. You first point of contact is your Retailer for a replacement.
