BBC iplayer, itvhub at al not working

I have tried to access the streaming services mentioned above. I keep getting a message saying an error has occurred please try later. Any simple straightforward solutions please?

Is the TV connected to the router OK?

Have you switched power off or had a power cut?

No power cuts and all other internet based apps working ok, eg Netflix, Prime, You tube etc, just the above having problems with.

I just had a similar problem after power turned off but Prime also not working – only one was Netflix.
Found a fix which worked for me – you could try it.
Time was different on TV..............
Went to Date/Time and set setting to take time from network. All OK then.

if checking the time isn't the issue you could try re running the Tv's initial setup (not a factory reset). Skip the TV tuning part and accept all sony and youview terms and conditions. Only takes a minute and could be the issue
