Hi there

As you are experiencing issues after a firmware update, it is advisable to do a factory reset. This can clear many random or weird 'gremlins'. See instructions: HERE

Hi all!

TV unit: KDL-50W756C

country: Latvia (continental Europe)

---------------------------------------------

After February 2016 firmsware update (3.179) my TV unit does two new dumb things:

1) after some time interval it changes their status from stand-by mode to unknown mode;

2) in this new dumb mode it:

2.1) plays video but there is no audio at all;

2.2) does not accept any control from remote and on rear panel - I must disconnect the unit from AC, so that unit goes totally down. When I plug in AC again Android restarts and now all works correct.

It seems to me that this last firmware update is errorneous!

Does any have similar problems?
