Can't connect to wifi

I have a kd-43xf8796 and it won't connect to wifi. other devices connect ok. It was working and when I returned after 4 months the problem arose. It can see the ssid and asks for password. after a while get message that it couldn't find the network. can't connect using wps either. any ideas?

Can you please check you've updated to the latest firmware version for your TV?

hi,

My tv software version is pkg6.5631. according to your link there is a later one. however automatic software download is enabled on the tv. also when I select check for a system software update I get the message that 'your software is up to date'. Wonder why its not detecting the latest ver?

Will I manually download and install 6.6520?
