Sony Bravia Not starting up KDL-75W855c

Hello i have a sony bravia 75" tv which has developed a problem it is about 2 years old model number KDL-75W855C . I came downstairs this morning and the tv was continuously turning itself on and off and still is 4 hours later. i understand there is an update due for release but all that is happening is the sony logo comes up on screen for about 10 seconds and then it turns itself off again . Due you have any idea what is going on?????

Ive tried doing the factory reset as requested by Sony tech support but it does not work . It seems this update that has been rolled out has buggered up alot of tv's . Who will be responsible for the cost of repairs.

This depends on the warranty status of your TV. As far as I know, manufacturer faults are only covered during the guarantee period.
