KD-55S8505C HDD Recording / Playback Issue (blurry fast motion)

I updated the firmware on our Android TV a couple of days ago to the much anticipated firmware with the HDD recording facility (PKG3.315) I'm using a Sonnics 750Gb FAT32 drive in USB port 3. Whilst it records ok, I notice that on fast motion video playback the picture blurs with a juddering effect. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this is & if they had a solution?

Could it be a HDD read write access speed issue or a glitch in the first release of this firmware which will be address in future updates?

The HDD is promoted as a drive tha'ts suitable for using as a hdd for smart TV's.

Your HDD will be fast enough to saturate the USB port.

I can only suggest that you experiment with the TVs MotionFlow settings.
