    <description>&lt;P&gt;Please help! I have an external hard drive for recording which up to now has worked. &amp;nbsp;But for the last two weeks I'm getting this error message in Recording Error List "Event could not be recorded. Conflicts with another timer recording or end time has passed."&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No other recording has been set and I am choosing my programme in advance and hitting the record button.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If this has worked in the past (and so you know how it all works and are familiar with it), and now it doesn't then the first thing I would try would be a 'soft' reset, usually done by holding down the power button on the remote until the TV reboots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't work then I would try deregistering and registering the drive and try again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If still no good then try a full factory reset of the TV (always the last option although many seem to suggest it as a first step) and see if the drive can be set up and if it works OK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
