Is there an app for android tv

that is like FreeSat

and gives you a proper epg etc and access to the catch-up services etc.

YouView/FreeView is crap where I live

but I have a satellite tuner.

Sony don't do FreeSat for some unbeknown reason!!!!

is there an alternative to utilise the satellite tuner

Hi there

There was upto a couple of months ago. Sony made a rather decent app called "Video and TV Sideview", however due to unknown reasons, they have basically discontinued it and turned it into a remote control app. It was great for Freeview and I think for Satellite too.

Sony dont do Freesat - correct. If Freesat is important to you, I would suggest looking at available devices/boxes that can do it.
